An Encounter with the Cookie!
I was browsing online when I stumble upon this lady's blog on how she met David Cook in person and relates to us her experiences with our Cookie. Aimee (thats the name on her blog) shared to MyIdol Forums about her close encounter with the next best thing!
Aimee, allow me to share to our fellow COOKIES ur experience and also the photograph of you and David during their visit at the Mirage in Las Vegas recently.
Entitled "I MET OUR BOY TODAY", here are some excerpts from her blog. I would do the same thing if I were in her shoes! :-P
"... Once they showed up it was chaos. I didn't really notice any of the other idols mainly because I was so focused on Mr. Cook. Finally he came to where I was standing and I was screaming his name at the top of my lungs. Syesha grabbed my hand and said hello, I nicely said HI SYESHA and then proceeded to try to get David's attention. Finally he was within arms distance and I took my shot. I grabbed his arm and shouted his name again (I had to shout, it was loud as heck there!!) He looked at me and smiled. I mouthed, or said ... not too clear ... "I LOVE YOU!" and I told him he was amazing. He smiled, put his hand on his chest and said thank you. I then asked him for a quick picture. He said "YES! Let's do it! It has to be fast!" so he put his arm around me .... pulled me in and we took a photo. It was rushed and he actually got yelled at by some guy behind him telling him that he's not supposed to be stopping. I thanked him and he leaned in, hugged me and said "Thank you so much! I love you!'" and they walked inside..."
I feel happy for Aimee for he was finally able to meet our AMERICAN IDOL! Here are more lines from her blog.
"... He told me to wait a minute. Then he said something to the guy who was telling them they had to leave, pointed at me and then ran over to me and said "HI! Okay!" and I said "Thank you so much! I'll make this quick" and he said "No worries, let's do this babe!" and I said OKAY! So we took another photo (Which I think came out super cute! lol). He looked at the picture and said it was really good, a woman told him that he was going to win. He was so humbled. He said he hoped so. Then some girls told him how they vote every Tuesday. He smiled and said thank you and I then told him how we have 3 cells phones and a landline going in the house and he smiled and said "OMG WOW That's AWESOME!"..."
Indeed David Cook is really destined for stardom! Here are more thoughts from Aimee.
"...I told him I was going to be at the finale and he said "Me too!" then said "Well I hope so. Actually, I'll be there either way!" and I said "WELL SO WILL I!" :-) and he said "Then I'll see you at the finale!" and hugged me and said bye to everyone, thanking them for sticking around and coming to see them, then he left as did the rest of the idols. David was the only one out of the four who came over and talked to us ... which I thought was pretty awesome ...."
Calling all COOKIES, let us support David Cook all the way! We must not let him down! He is very talented and deserves to be the next American Idol!

I really envy her!
I wish David Cook will also go here in the Philippines and have a concert!
